In 2007 my aunt, cousin, and I traveled to France. We spent two weeks in Paris and visited a few other cities besides. We visited mostly basilicas and churches, but we also visited a castle and the Paris sewers – the section they let people take a tour through, anyway (hey, it wasn’t as gross as you might think! It was very Les Miserables-ish 🙂 ). A few memorable moments from this trip: riding bikes through the gardens at the Palace of Versailles, singing Ave Maria impromptu in San Chapelle (in an attempt to get extremely noisy tourists to be quiet; hey it worked!), and visiting Chartres and Notre Dame.
