Thanksgiving just passed us by, and one of my favorite dishes on the table was the green bean casserole (and the cranberry salad, and the homemade stuffing, and the sweet potato casserole…well, you know…it’s all yummy! But this dish gets points for being not only yummy but easy as well).
This recipe takes just minutes to prepareĀ andĀ makes a TON…enough for about 15 adults. It is very forgiving, so adjust to your desired creamy-ness and crowd. To make the prep even easier, mix the ingredients right in the pan you’ll be baking it in. A large disposable foil baking pan works great, especially if you’ll be transporting the dish and you want to avoid cleanup. Warm to steaming in the oven, and you have a tasty and easy dish even the kids will love!
